Censorly filters unwanted words and phrases directly on web pages. Choose Hide, Censor, or Blur mode, and use Exact or Wildcard matching to control whether variations and word endings are included.

All text processing happens inside your browser. Censorly does not send webpage content or filter words to the developer, external APIs, analytics services, or advertising networks.

Preferences are stored using Firefox extension storage. Firefox may synchronize these preferences through Firefox Sync when the user has enabled browser synchronization.

Censorly filters ordinary webpage text. It does not inspect text embedded inside images, videos, PDF files, Word documents, browser-protected pages, or Firefox internal pages.
