Local Audio Player is a user-friendly Chrome extension designed to play audio files from your computer directly within your browser. It comes packed with helpful features such as a sleep timer for late night listening, the ability to cast audio to other devices, and keyboard shortcuts for effortless audio navigation. The extension also remembers where you left off and will be adding more features in the future. Please remember to enable 'Allow access to file URLs' in Manage Extensions for optimal use.

Very good indeed! Must it needs configuration!!! Go go Options and configure if it does not take control automatically of the audio file that you just opened.
