Skimcast is a Chrome extension that enables users to transform lengthy texts in the browser into shorter, digestible summaries. It's equipped with a feature that allows the user to specify the summary's length, which can range from 1-99% of the original's document length. Furthermore, it automatically recognises and highlights the key themes in each document, giving a quick overview of the main points in the content. Especially useful for course materials and documents behind paywalls.
