Skool Bus – Driver App

Skool Bus is the driver's app for schools that use Skool. It shares your bus's live position with the school and with the parents of the students on your route, so everyone knows where the bus is and when it will arrive.

HOW IT WORKS
• Your school gives you a QR code for your bus (a printed sheet or a message). Scan it once. There is no account and no password.
• Every day: tap Start trip, put the phone on the dashboard, drive, and tap End trip.
• While the trip runs, a map shows your bus and the stops of the route.
• The stops near the bus appear under "Near you", nearest first, each with a Reached button. The app also marks a stop by itself when the bus comes within about 100 metres of it.
• Parents see the bus on the Skool page as an approximate position, with how old that news is.

MADE FOR DRIVERS
• Big buttons and a simple screen.
• English and Hindi, in day and night colours.
• Keeps sharing while the screen is off, from Start trip until End trip.

YOUR PRIVACY
• Your location is read only between Start trip and End trip, and a notification "Sharing the bus position" stays visible the whole time.
• Skool keeps only the latest position of each bus, not a record of where it has been.
• No ads. No account. Your location is never sold or used for advertising.

TIP
Keep the phone on a charger in the bus. Sharing the position uses little battery, but a screen that stays on uses a lot.

WHAT YOU NEED
A bus key from your school. Ask your school's Skool administrator to open the Transport page, choose your route and make a bus key. The app does not work without one.
