Despite years of issues the app is still plain obstructive, requiring that the app has access to location always even to view your data. When you contact them to report the issue, their response is to say that others such as Strava do the same. They most certainly do not, Strava allows me to access my ride data with location turned off completely! They are unwilling to look objectively at their creation. Sad. Avoid. 2024-09-17	ke*****	Shocking App, It constantly loses the light after a few days ? When you want to use app to start lights it fails to connect to lights ? So need to manually press power to start lights. When trying to reconnect, it fails. Have to forget light and add it again. App is an abject failure !!!.

2023-03-08	Ga*****	App broke. It doesn't know it has loc and bluetooth permissions and keeps asking. Found solution, use ask everytime for loc, yes when asked and that works. Very messy. Improved bluetooth handshaking, well done on that. You haven't emailed me. I've 3 lights, and numerous historical support tickets you can find me easily.

2023-02-12	Da*****	This app is a total waste of time. It will not set theft alerts unless I uninstall and re install the app each time I want to set it. I can't rely on it to have set correctly unless I test it first then its back to square one and I have to uninstall and reinstall the app again. Then its potluck if its set correctly unless, Guess what? I test it again. Please get this mess of an app sorted. It spoils the whole light experience that should set it head and shoulders above all of its competitors!!!!

2022-06-12	Pa*****	An expensive habit. Second and last set of see sense lights. Once again the lights are stuck and won't turn on, despite following all of the hints, tips, tricks, advised to reset. For it to happen once, is a glitch, for it to happen again, is poor quality. The not so smart, smart light.

2022-04-03	El*****	First off, let me say the lights are absolutely awesome, best in industry. Longtime customer, had almost every version, and already pre-ordered the Icon 3. The App on the other hand has become absolute TRASH!! You spend 2-3 hundred on lights and App will NOT ever connect to the lights. If you do get lucky and actually get them listed, forget about them ever connecting regularly. See Sense, stop making new lights until you invest in your application. This a disappoint to all your loyal customers.

2022-03-26	Da*****	I had to remove app. Not only did it not work, but it kept telling me that it "keeps stopping". This occurred even when the app was not running. It works great on my ipad. However i cant take my ipad with me when i ride. I dont really see much point to the app anyway. It will tell you your current battery level, but thats about all.

The lights are often 'unable to connect' to my phone - I often have to give up and just don't bother record my ride half the time. The accuracy of the battery charge on the app isnt great either - it had 20% yet wouldn't stay on for more than a few seconds, even with the 'get me home' setting on. I'd hope that these and other issues I have will get ironed out with time and app updates (and that it's not an issue with the lights).

2022-02-06	Ch*****	The lights are great, when they work. Only had the light 4-5 months when the app stopped recording my rides or any info. Then the front light stopped working, having a constant green light on. Then the rear light a few weeks later. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app, but nothing. Now I have 2 lights that doesn't work and an app that won't connect to them.

2021-12-29	Du*****	Love the lights but the app is very frustrating. Sometimes it finds the lights. Sometimes it doesn't. Was on a ride yesterday, got foggy very quickly on a descent. Stopped as wanted to change the front light blink to something more visible but I couldn't as the app just would not recognise the lights. Switched lights off and on. Restarted app multiple times. No joy. App issue is potentially a safety issue, not just frustrating.
