Cast Kodi adds the ability to cast videos and music to Kodi from a wide range of sites and sources. It supports direct media links (avi, mkv, mp3, flac, torrents, etc.), as well as popular services like YouTube, Twitch, Vimeo, and SoundCloud, allowing you to send content to Kodi directly from the browser.

Cast Kodi provides convenient context menu options on links, pages, or selections: Play now to Kodi, Play next to Kodi, and Queue item to Kodi. A toolbar remote lets you control playback, pause, skip, and volume. To connect, enable Allow remote control from applications on other systems in Kodi (Settings > Services > Control) and enter Kodi's IP address in Cast Kodi Options.

Pure GARBAGE extension and a waste of my precious time. It doesn't even attempt to connect to KODI here! I get a yellow triangle with an exclamation mark. Zero explanation is given what's wrong. I have allow remote control from other systems on and the correct IP address. Nothing. It says it can't put the cast icon on Android Firefox anyway so WTF is the point!?!? I just want to cast YouTube from Firefox where I get no ads instead of the app that hits me with nonstop annoying ads. Mirroring the display to Chromecast actually works here. Screw this nonsense. Edit: I see no way to reply so it's here. Yes, they were on the same WiFi network.
