Carrot

Fast and accurate rating predictor for Codeforces

Carrot is a Chrome extension designed to enhance your Codeforces experience by providing fast and accurate rating predictions. For active contests, Carrot calculates and displays real-time rating changes and the delta required to rank up, adding new insightful columns to the ranklist without clutter. Post-contest, it reveals final deltas and rank changes to help users analyze their performance comprehensively.

All computations happen locally in your browser by communicating solely with the official Codeforces API, ensuring privacy and speed. Users can toggle the visibility of Carrot’s additional columns according to their preferences. Note that while Carrot offers precise predictions, its accuracy is affected by the recent changes in Codeforces rating systems. For users with limited data, alternative tools like CF-Predictor might be more suitable. Bug reports and suggestions are welcomed through the project's GitHub repository.

    Extension safety

    Risk impact
Risk impact measures the level of extra permissions an extension has access to. A low risk impact extension cannot do much harms, whereas a high risk impact extension can do a lot of damage like stealing your password, bypassing your security settings, and accessing your personal data. High risk impact extensions are not necessarily malicious. However, if they do turn malicious, they can be very harmful.

    Carrot requires very minimum permissions.
