MediRx Delivery

MediRx Delivery is the companion app for delivery drivers who deliver prescriptions on behalf of pharmacies that use MediRx.

This is a tool for authorized delivery staff. You sign in with a phone number and password issued by your pharmacy — the app does not offer public sign-up, and it is not intended for patients or the general public.

WHAT YOU CAN DO
• Build your run by scanning — scan the barcode on each prescription bag and it becomes a stop, with the patient's name and delivery address.
• See your route — a clear list of the stops on board, with one-tap handoff to your maps app for navigation.
• Confirm every handover — scan the same bag at the door to make sure the right medication reaches the right person, then capture a signature and an optional proof-of-delivery photo.
• Record the outcome — mark a delivery complete, note cash collected, or report why a delivery couldn't be made.
• Keep working offline — scans, signatures and photos are saved on your device in a parkade or a dead zone and sent automatically once you're back in range.
• Stay up to date — get a notification when a new stop is ready.

WHY THE APP ASKS FOR PERMISSIONS
• Camera — to scan bag labels and take proof-of-delivery photos.
• Location — to stamp where each bag left the store, giving the pharmacy a chain-of-custody record. Location is read only at pickup; it is never shared with other users or used for tracking.
• Notifications — to let you know when a new delivery is ready.
