TZNotify

You know when you're travelling across a time zone boundary, and your phone automatically and silently updates the system time zone? Wouldn't it be nice if your phone told you? This app sends a notification when the system time zone changes.

NOTE: This app's icon is not shown in the normal app list. If you wish to uninstall the app, you can find it in the list of All Apps in the device settings, or you can uninstall from the Play Store. Ordinarily, you will never need to "run" the app, because it only sends notifications. (The long technical reason for this decision is after 90 days of not running a normal app, Android will disable the app notifications, assuming the user is no longer using the app. However, this app's only purpose is to send occasional notifications, while never needing to run the app. By marking the app as "INFO" instead of the normal "LAUNCHER", Android will not disable the app notifications after 90 days. However, this also means the app doesn't appear in the normal app list.)

The app takes very few resources. The app does not run in the background. When the Android time zone changes, the system sends a broadcast message, invoking this app, which sends a notification.

If you wish to test the app, if you manually change the system time zone, you will receive a notification.
