3D Pathology in Gynecology, this work constitutes an Atlas of three-dimensional images with computed tomography.

It may be useful to doctors specializing in Gynecology, medical students, internal resident doctors, primary care specialists, radiology technicians, and healthcare professionals in general.

The volumetric acquisitions of sectional diagnostic imaging methods, fundamentally computed tomography, allow post-processing of the images with different basic and advanced visualization methods, highlighting among the latter three-dimensional volumetric representations.

Volume Rendering constitutes a very relevant study method in the understanding of sectional anatomy since it allows us a perfect orientation of all the structures in the different planes of space. Its pleasant combination of section with three-dimensional vision makes its use attractive and enlightening.

Both 3D Volume Rendering and sectional Volume Rendering complement the diagnosis of the pathology and allow a clear understanding of it, which is currently essential for our surgeons and in medical education.
