Find an archived copy when a public article is unavailable or hard to access. Click ByeWall in your toolbar to open an Archive.today lookup in a new tab.

New in ByeWall 2: • Try Wayback Machine independently from the page or link context menu. • Use Alt + Shift + B (Option + Shift + B on macOS) for a quick lookup. • Open Archive options to paste an address or copy clean original and archive lookup links. • Choose explicitly whether to continue to a public snapshot submission page; ByeWall never automatically captures pages. • Minimal permissions: activeTab and contextMenus, with no access to all websites. • Blocks obvious local, credential-bearing and sensitive-token URLs and removes recognized tracking parameters.

Archive availability and article completeness vary. Providers may be unavailable or ask for verification. ByeWall cannot unlock every article or identify every private URL. Use public links you intend to share.

No analytics or reading-history database. Your selected URL is sent to the archive provider you choose, which receives normal browser-request information. Provider and browser history practices apply.
