Compass Plus is a compass app built for people who want accuracy and simplicity in one place. Whether you're finding your Qibla, checking prayer times, or just need a reliable compass on a hike — it works, and it works offline.

COMPASS:
The compass uses gyroscope fusion to keep readings smooth and steady, even when you're moving. If something nearby is interfering with the magnetic sensor, the app tells you. And if accuracy drops, a simple calibration guide walks you through the fix.

QIBLA DIRECTION:
The Qibla screen shows you the direction of the Kaaba from wherever you are in the world. The calculation uses the great-circle method, which gives you the true shortest-path bearing — the one that actually matters on a spherical Earth.

Alongside the QIBLA DIRECTION, you'll also see:

• Today's date in both Gregorian and Islamic (Hijri) calendars
• Daily prayer times: Fajr, Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib, and Isha
• Sunrise and Sunset times
• Current and next prayer, clearly highlighted

MOON PHASE:
A simple screen that tells you everything about the current state of the moon — drawn from your GPS location, no internet needed.

• Illumination percentage and how many days into the cycle you are
• Moonrise and Moonset times for today
• When the next Full Moon and New Moon are, with a countdown

DHIKR COUNTER:
A clean, distraction-free Tasbih counter. Tap anywhere on the screen to count. The phone vibrates lightly with each tap so you don't have to look at it.

A FEW THINGS WORTH KNOWING:
• Everything works offline — compass, Qibla, prayer times, moon, and Dhikr counter all run without an internet connection
• Prayer times follow the Muslim World League (MWL) method
• The Hijri date is calculated algorithmically and may differ by a day or two from moon-sighted dates in some regions
• For the most accurate compass readings, wave your device in a figure-eight motion a few times to calibrate the magnetometer

COMPASS TERMS EXPLAINED:
Azimuth — the angle between North and the direction your device is pointing. Zero means you're pointing North. The app also shows this as N, NE, E, SE, S, SW, W, or NW.

Pitch — how much your device tilts front to back. Zero is flat.

Roll — how much your device tilts left to right. Zero is flat.
