Some links are useful without belonging in your normal Firefox bookmarks. Burrowmarks keeps them in a separate encrypted vault protected by a master password.

Save pages from the toolbar or right-click menu. Titles, addresses, notes, and folders are encrypted locally on your device. There is no Burrowmarks account, cloud storage, analytics, advertising, or subscription.

Features:

A separate recovery key restores access if the master password is lost.
Standard bookmark HTML import and export works with regular browsers.
Downloadable encrypted backups preserve the complete Burrowmarks vault.
Three encrypted automatic backups protect against accidental changes.
Warm Trust, Firefox Native, and Private Lockbox themes.
Reading, deletion, recovery, and export are always available without payment.

Paid feature disclosure: Save up to five links free forever. A $14.99 one-time license unlocks unlimited links and folders. It is not a subscription.

Burrowmarks keeps saved links in its own vault. Opening a link still uses Firefox normally and may create ordinary browser history.
