By breaking down the URL into segments such as host, path, search, and hash components, it provides clickable links that let you quickly navigate to parent directories or sections of the website. For example, a URL like https://blog.mozilla.org/blog/2017/06/13/faster-better-firefox is parsed into breadcrumbs like blog.mozilla.org, blog, 2017, 06, 13, and faster-better-firefox — clicking any of these navigates the tab accordingly.

You can open the breadcrumb panel by clicking the extension’s icon or by using the shortcut CTRL + ,. The appearance is customizable, allowing you to display breadcrumbs horizontally, vertically, or in both styles.
