User Reviews
Pros
- Regex search support enabling complex in-page queries.
- Very helpful for navigating large data dumps and long pages.
- Highlights all matches and keeps highlights visible for review.
- Easy to use with a straightforward interface.
Cons
- Hijacks the word find in the address bar with no option to disable.
- Search box or results panel disappears after certain interactions and does not stay visible across tabs.
- Hotkey usage is inconsistent with reports of confusion and not working on some systems (notably Linux).
- Crashes on some very large sites.

Thanks for writing this extension.
It looks quite simple but I had tried a bunch of other extensions like this and they all seemed to make weirdly inconvenient UI decisions. This one does it all in a way *more like you would expect it should* - if you have a regular expression already saved from previous use, you can merely click the toolbar icon to apply it to the current page and the highlights come up immediately. Other extensions made you do multiple clicks for no good reason.
Seems like an example of "it takes complexity to make things truly simple"

I keep thinking it was Ctrl+UpArrow+F was driving me mad. This is for other dummies like me, it's actually Ctrl+SHIFT+F
and yeah it works. Might be a bug, search window disappears after some various interactions such as toggling between tabs or simply selecting or clicking something on the search page.

Is {find+} Safe?
Risk impact
Risk impact measures the level of extra permissions an extension has access to. A low risk impact extension cannot do much harms, whereas a high risk impact extension can do a lot of damage like stealing your password, bypassing your security settings, and accessing your personal data. High risk impact extensions are not necessarily malicious. However, if they do turn malicious, they can be very harmful.
{find+} requires some sensitive permissions that could impact your browser and data security. Exercise caution before installing.
