CAU Cidadão

CAU-Cidadão is an application aimed at the whole society that allows access to information about the location, area and attributes of Urban Green Areas registered by Brazilian municipalities. It allows the registered areas to be evaluated by the citizens, which will assist in the management of urban green areas and in decision making by municipal, state and federal managers.

• Represents a source of updated information, in an agile and transparent way, for the citizen in general regarding the management of urban green areas.
• Allows access to information and assessment of environmental conditions, leisure, health, safety, infrastructure and management of urban green areas registered by Brazilian municipalities.
• Allows the insertion of vegetation alerts with the need for handling, damaged equipment and floors, damaged furniture, signs of burning, the need for cleaning, among others.
• Informs the distance and access routes between the citizen and the urban green areas of interest.
• Provides the number of areas registered by Brazilian municipalities, in addition to indicators, such as the relationship between the registered urban green area and the number of inhabitants.

The CAU-Cidadão application accesses self-declaratory records made by technicians and managers of the municipalities through the CAU-Gestor application, a tool for collecting and compiling information about urban green areas and springs, developed to support environmental management and quality improvement of life in cities.
