GesMoeda

GesMoeda is a digital solution created to modernize the municipal policy of incentivizing local commerce. Instead of manual processes, paperwork, or difficult-to-follow controls, the City Hall now has an organized, secure, and transparent system—from credit to employees to payments in businesses and accountability.

In practice, eligible employees receive a monthly amount in digital social currency, which must be used in establishments authorized by the City Hall. Merchants receive sales through the app, and at the end of the cycle, the City Hall monitors and makes the transfer clearly.
