The Nursing App is designed to assist nursing staff in their activities and patient care through a smartphone.

Its main features are:

- checking medicines prescribed by a doctor and administered by nurses in the patient within the appointed time.

- checking of nursing care prescribed by a physician and performed by nursing.

- transfer of patient rooms.

- Checking batch and expiry date of medicaments before being offered to
patient.

The main objective of the application is to allow the registration in the system of nursing staff services at the time they occur, avoiding having to be
 recorded on paper for later typing, avoiding rework.

By reading the bar code on the patient's wristband system identifies the patient, followed by the reading of the drug barcode records the consumption of the drug for this patient, reducing the possibility of error exchange for drugs and typos.

Access to the application will be allowed to all nurses and nursing assistants who work in hospital units with the same login used to access the Wareline computer system.
