Nielsen Extension

The Nielsen Computer Panel is your opportunity to be a part of the research we do here at Nielsen. Your participation helps us understand how consumers use the Internet and computers by studying the types of websites people like you visit. By adding our extension to your computer, you are contributing to the measurement of the digital landscape and are eligible to earn rewards.

Before enabling our Nielsen extension, you must first sign up using our Nielsen Computer and Mobile Panel registration form. Once your registration is submitted, you can enable this extension on your computer. If you have not completed our registration form, this extension will not function and you will not receive rewards.

With your help, Nielsen and our clients will better understand trends such as website visits and how much time is spent viewing content. In addition, the extension collects certain browser usage information including navigation and webpage/video data which is securely sent back to Nielsen for research purposes. We do NOT collect user IDs, passwords, banking or financial information. Your activity will be anonymized and aggregated along with thousands of other participating panelists before any reports are shared.
