Boards.ie Cleaner ~ V3

Boards.ie Cleaner is a small helper extension that makes browsing Boards.ie a bit smoother and less annoying, on both desktop and Firefox for Android / Quetta.

What it does:

Improves the initial overlay/notice behavior so pages feel less jumpy while still respecting the site’s UI.

Lets you adjust the overlay message and timing, with mobile-friendly defaults.

Adds profile tools, including quick toggles between “discussions” and “comments” and easier navigation between user pages.

Offers an optional quote-hiding feature so long quote embeds don’t dominate threads.

Adds keyboard shortcuts to jump to common Boards pages (bookmarks, notifications, drafts, etc.).

Tweaks some layout details (paging controls, buttons, small UI quirks) to make the forum easier to use.

Privacy and scope:

The extension only runs on https://www.boards.ie/*.

No data is sent off-site; settings are stored locally in your browser.

Permissions are kept as narrow as possible and are only used to modify Boards.ie pages for you.

This add-on is a community-built helper for existing Boards.ie users and is not affiliated with Boards.ie itself.
