Sender Icons for Gmail™

Add a sender icon for all emails in your Gmail inbox.

Sender Icons for Gmail™ is a handy Chrome extension that enriches your Gmail inbox by adding small icons next to each email based on the sender's domain. Once installed and reloaded, users will see a recognizable icon beside the subject line, making it easier to quickly identify emails at a glance. By default, icons are 16x16 pixels, but you can customize them to 32x32 pixels via the extension's options page.

Manage the feature effortlessly by toggling the extension on or off directly from the toolbar, giving you control over your inbox appearance. Works perfectly! One feature I’d really love to see is the option to move the sender icons to the left of the sender’s name. I think this would give the interface a cleaner, more streamlined look. Thanks for this great extension!

Pretty useful, but it would be much better if it pulled down a larger image size or at least provided the user the option. Google's favicon API allows requesting larger icons with a simple URL query string, "&size=32". The 16px icon is way too small and looks pretty bad on high DPI retina displays.
