BMTab Firefox

BMTab

By: zncoder
Put the tab to bookmark for future access and to release the resources. It is similar to OneTab but stores the tabs in a bookmark folder.

Features & Capabilities

Sometimes you may want to close a tab either because you have too many tabs or you'd like to revisit the page in the near future, you can click the icon to put the site to a special bmtab bookmark folder. You can access these tabs from the Bmtab page by right clicking the icon and selecting the "Show Bmtabs page".

This add-on was inspired by OneTab. But OneTab may lose the saved tabs occasionally for unknown reason. This add-on saves the tabs in the "bmtab-bn4yaq" bookmark folder for simple and reliable storage.

User Reviews

Hello there! I am using this addon as an alternative to OneTab as OneTab is sadly really unreliable and constantly uses my saved tabs. Your addon looks really good, but could you please implement a function like "Save all tabs to the right/left/of this window/..."? Doing it one by one is really a hassle if you want to save lots of tabs at once. Ty!

1. Bookmarks list on right click menu doesn't update sometimes when syncing between devices done. 2. Dropdown menu (shows when there a lot bookmarks) doesn't appear sometimes. 3. Add to bookmarks menu on right click on tab and some limit on history storage bookmarks amount would be nice. Overall all it very useful, thanks.

Is BMTab Safe?

Risk impact
Risk impact measures the level of extra permissions an extension has access to. A low risk impact extension cannot do much harms, whereas a high risk impact extension can do a lot of damage like stealing your password, bypassing your security settings, and accessing your personal data. High risk impact extensions are not necessarily malicious. However, if they do turn malicious, they can be very harmful.

BMTab requires a few sensitive permissions. Exercise caution before installing.

Risk likelihood measures the probability that a Firefox add-on may turn malicious. This is determined by the publisher and the Firefox add-on reputation on Firefox Add-ons Store, the amount of time the Firefox add-on has been around, and other signals about the Firefox add-on. Our algorithms are not perfect, and are subject to change as we discover new ways to detect malicious extensions. We recommend that you always exercise caution when installing a Firefox add-on.

BMTab is probably trust-worthy. Prefer other publishers if available. Exercise caution when installing this add-on.
