Extension summary

Next Tab is a simple extension that allows you to change the keyboard shortcuts to move between tabs from ctrl+tab and ctrl+shift+tab (eww) to whatever you like!

HOW TO USE THIS EXTENSION

  1. Click the "add to chrome" button at the top of this popup
  2. You'll be asked if you want to install the extension and chrome will warn you that the extension can see your browsing history. Don't worry! That's just because it's always active no matter which page you're on, it doesn't read or record your history.
  3. Once you've installed open a new tab and go to "chrome://extensions"
  4. Scroll to the bottom and click "Keyboard Shortcuts"
  5. Find this extension
  6. Click in the boxes to set your own custom keybindings!

User reviews

Yes! This is exactly what I was looking for since I read that extensions could now overwrite chrome key bindings. And the best of all: It doesn't try to bloat this feature with anything else. You're a hero ;)
