2024-01-30 | Jack Virag | en | I'm a content marketer who specializes in web and SEO marketing. I know enough HTML to know what color my text is going to be, but not enough to write it myself. I use Statsig Sidecar to run A/B tests on my own website, and it is the most impactful tool I've ever used. Typically I would make two almost-identical web pages and send paid traffic to them to see which one does better. Statsig Sidecar helped me stop spending money on this and start gathering data myself. Plus, the Statsig dashboard is easier to use than Google. After pasting Statsig's code into the <head> of my content model (I use a CMS), I can pop open my Sidecar and make changes to web pages on the fly. I generally like to test CTAs and headings, but you can also test images, paragraph text, and whatever else. After running for a few weeks, I'll update the web page to permanently reflect the winning variant. Super easy. For almost-technical marketers like myself, particularly ones who need data rather than vibes, I can't recommend this tool highly enough. | |
