Money Pieces, by The Math Learning Center, is a Chrome extension designed to help students understand money's values and relationships. It provides two types of money representations, virtual currency pieces that replicate U.S. coins and the dollar bill, and area money pieces. The latter represents the values of coins and the dollar bill using an area model, facilitating modeling and computing with fractions and decimals. Users can convert money to different bill or coin values, annotate their work with drawing tools, and write equations with the math text tool.
