What is Web Summarizer?

Web Summarizer is a Chrome extension that provides a summary version of the content of web pages. It allows users to access only the important content of web pages without advertisements. The extension opens a popup with the most relevant paragraphs of the accessed page. The size of the summary can be adjusted using the slider in the popup. The tool works with better precision for English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, and Spanish languages, but can be used for any language as statistical data is used to determine the most relevant content.

Web Summarizer is an extension that provides a summary version of the content of web pages. Access only the important content of web pages without advertisements. Clicking on the extension icon opens a popup with the most relevant paragraphs of the page accessed. Set the size of the summary using the slider at the top of the popup. The tool works with better precision for the following languages: • English • French • German • Italian • Portuguese • Spanish However, as statistical data is used to determine the most relevant content, it can be used for any language.

It is a good extension - it does what it says , except this: When web page is translated by Chrome - although the page shows English text the summary is in original language. ( seldom works well ) . Please fix this ! It would be nice to combine Preview with Summary so I do not have to open the page in new page ( well - translate would not work in this case) Fix please translated page summary and I will give 5 stars !
