I tried it in many games - it does not work. Sometimes not at all, sometimes with errors, and almost never correctly.

Updating the review after the last update. 5 out of 5 now. Hope to see the City & Knights expansion resource tracker to this. ----- It has become better. Dev has really implemented the changes well to track resources after robber hit. Still would like if it has option to move on side. Also, may be in next update we have other Catan Expansions working specially C&K. ----- It is alright. UI definitely need improvement so the data is available on sidebar instead of top. Also, possibly add an Unknown unit for when someone gets hits by robber rather than making them all 0. It can further be logically deduced what resource was the stolen based on usage further into the game.
