The Elevation and Sea Depth Chrome extension provides users with detailed terrain elevation and sea depth profiles based on the direction their phone is facing. With a 5km range, it samples elevation points every 10m to 100m horizontally and rounds directions to 30° increments for accurate navigation. This tool is especially useful for outdoor enthusiasts engaged in activities like hiking, trekking, mountaineering, and fishing. To ensure accuracy, users should hold their phone on a flat surface and avoid nearby ferrous metal objects or electromagnetic interference.
