DNAApp is the first Android application designed specifically to open and analyze DNA sequencing files in ab1 format. It provides powerful tools including reverse complement computation, quick navigation options like "Jump to" and fast/end scrolling, chromatogram adjustments for better visualization, amino acid translations, sequence segment searching, and exporting sequences to fasta format.

Designed for seamless integration, DNAApp supports cloud storage access and works well with other apps and web-tools to assess sequencing file quality. Compatible with Android 4 and above, users should note that accessing local files requires using ES File Explorer for proper permissions. Developed by the Antibody & Product Development Lab at the Bioinformatics Institute in Singapore, DNAApp is a pioneering tool for molecular biologists and genetic researchers needing on-the-go DNA sequence analysis.
