BetterKeka helps prevent accidental weekly timesheet submissions and makes your daily Keka workflow smarter and more efficient.

In many teams, users mistakenly submit their weekly timesheets too early — locking entries and requiring admin intervention to fix. BetterKeka solves that with multiple layers of protection, and goes further with a real-time work progress dashboard, leave visibility, smart save validation, and more.

Timesheet Protection

• 5-layer submit lock — hides the Submit Weekly button completely on non-allowed days (CSS, JS, click blocking, and API interception)
• Single confirmation step on allowed days so you never submit by accident
• Configurable unlock day (default: Friday)
• Visible banner when the extension is disabled so you know you are unprotected

Work Progress & Goals

• Real-time weekly and daily effective hours tracked in the popup
• Leave By Time — shows exactly when you can leave (e.g. "Leave by 6:30 PM") based on clock-in time and a 9-hour daily target
