User Reviews

The extension is decent. Here's what I like: - the font change is quite welcome; - the "more modernised layout" is pretty nice, the website does actually look modern now; - the ability to change ratings colours; - the ability to hide ratings entirely; - the ability to see unrounded scores. Here's what I don't really like: - for some reason, the critic score and the user score part of a release's page has black text on a dark background in light mode, and vice versa in dark mode; - Spotify Stats can't be disabled; - on a release page, the spacing between a user's avatar and the box for writing a review is a bit off; - this is a small nitpick, but when the "Highlight Best Tracks" function is toggled on, it also highlights certain ratings in the "Rating Distribution" bracket on a user's page. It is also unclear what some of the functions do, since the welcome screen doesn't really explain them, nor is it explained anywhere else (e.g. "Quick compare mode" and "Score tooltips"). Overall, decent extension. Hopefully it improves overtime.

great extension, would be really nice if ratings showed up after you rated the album yourself

Is Better AOTY Safe?

Risk impact
Risk impact measures the level of extra permissions an extension has access to. A low risk impact extension cannot do much harms, whereas a high risk impact extension can do a lot of damage like stealing your password, bypassing your security settings, and accessing your personal data. High risk impact extensions are not necessarily malicious. However, if they do turn malicious, they can be very harmful.

Better AOTY requires very minimum permissions.
