We grew up with the sound of meat sauce on Sunday mornings, with the smell of Parmigiana and Luciana-style octopus, with zeppole at Christmas and with Pastiera at Easter.
Every celebration had its own tradition, on every day of celebration the hands of our mothers and grandmothers kneaded something that we would all enjoy together in the family.
