Habitat

Habitat is a quiet habit tracker with one trick: a goal comes with a "semi-goal," a small enough nudge that's super easy to finish. If your goal is to read a chapter a day, the semi-goal might just be "open the book." On days when you can't do the whole thing, the semi-goal still counts, so you keep your momentum and don't have to feel bad.

Tap a goal to move it through three states: not started, semi-goal done, and completely done. There isn't much more to learn.

WHAT YOU CAN DO

- Dail, weekly and monthly goals, tracked once a day/week/month.
- An optional semi-goal for every goal, so the first step can always be small.
- Pick the days a daily goal runs: weekdays, weekends, or any combination (e.g. for specific work/weekend goals).
- An overview with week, month and year views, plus streaks, completion stats and a calendar heatmap.
- Edit past days if you forgot to log something or logged it wrong.
- Optional reminders for daily, weekly and monthly goals at times you choose. They're off by default, so nothing seeks your attention unless you ask it to.
- Archive a goal to keep its history, or delete it for good.
- Light and dark themes.
- Dense or spacious layout.
- Export your data anytime as a plain JSON file.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN

Everything stays on your phone. There's no account to make, no servers, no ads, and no tracking or analytics. The app doesn't even ask for internet access, so your habits have no way to leave the device.

CALM, NOT DEMANDING

Habitat won't push you toward a 200-day streak or guilt you for missing a day. It's meant to sit in a calm corner of your phone, and provide just enough of a reward (confetti :) ) when you check something off.
