LOUD does not hold the internet permission. Android itself refuses the app any connection, so nothing about your music, your habits or your device can ever be transmitted. No cloud, no account, no sign-up, no ads, no analytics, no artwork lookup, no update check.

YOUR MUSIC, PROPERLY READ
• MP3 and FLAC with full tags — title, artist, album, genre, year — and embedded cover art. Other common audio formats play too.
• A library that browses by track, album, artist and genre, with letter tiles to jump a big collection.
• A tag inspector that shows every field a file carries and where each value came from — so when a track looks wrong, you can see why.

A PLAYER, NOT A PAGE THAT MAKES NOISE
• Keeps playing with the screen off and in the background.
• Controls on the lock screen, on Bluetooth displays and in Android Auto.
• Picks up where you left off — same track, same position, same queue.
• Shuffle and repeat, and a reorderable Up Next queue.

SOUND
• A five-band equalizer wired into the device's own audio engine, with presets.
• An 8-bit spectrum analyzer drawn over the sleeve — computed from the music as it plays, with no microphone permission, because there isn't one in the app.

YOUR PLAYLISTS ARE YOURS
Playlists export as plain M3U8 files that VLC, foobar and most other players read — and import the same way. Nothing is locked in.

PRIVATE BY CONSTRUCTION
• Your library index, playlists and listening position are stored encrypted on your device.
• LOUD reads only the one folder you point it at. It never asks for access to all media on your phone.
• Your library is excluded from cloud backups and phone-to-phone transfers — what you listen to stays with you.
• Exactly three permissions: two to keep playing in the background, one to stop the battery saver cutting a track short. No location, no microphone, no contacts, no advertising ID.
