User Reviews
Pros
- Feature-rich and powerful — many users find it the best image downloader and rely on it long-term.
- Can catch images other downloaders miss (handles “null”/hard-to-detect images).
- Rich, configurable download controls (delay, thread number) and many options/status views.
- Works on a wide range of sites (several users report success on sites like Instagram).
Cons
- Often grabs thumbnails or misses the full‑size/linked images (especially from search results).
- Confusing or non‑intuitive UI with a steep learning curve; some users can’t figure out how to start downloads.
- Cannot easily choose download folder or persist filename/naming patterns (defaults to system download location).
- Performance and intrusive UI elements/popups reported to slow the browser.
- Bulk/all‑tabs functions sometimes miss images or include extra images not visible on the page.

Been using this extension for over four years now, probably closer to; if not five years outright. It has been able to do everything it promised it would, and even a bit beyond that - if you put in the time in to fully grasp it.

When I browse Google images or YANDEX images, it does not find all the images that have a larger size. That is, each image leads to a link that contains the image in large together with additional content. But most of these images do not appear, but only some of them.
