Basic Gestures is a straightforward Chrome extension that improves your browsing experience by enabling essential mouse gestures. By holding the right mouse button, moving the mouse in specified directions, and releasing, users can quickly execute navigation commands like back, forward, opening or closing tabs, and scrolling to the top or bottom of a page.

This extension supports commands such as moving left for "Back," right for "Forward," up for "Scroll to top" or "Open new tab" (configurable), down for "Scroll to bottom," and combined gestures like down + right or right + down to close the current tab. Note for Linux and Mac users: pressing the right mouse button twice opens the context menu. Basic Gestures offers simple, intuitive controls to streamline your Chrome navigation effortlessly.

dont know why others dont work with "down-right" for close tabs, but THIS definately does. i use foreward, back, AND close TAB for 99% of gestures. thx
