Skipping an early upgrade in order to afford a better one later adds a layer of strategic depth to the game, and in specific, I would pay coins to not have to take Explosion. Explosion makes 10% of your balls do nothing to the boss, and needs the explosion to hit at least 10 enemies to break even in damage, which is incredibly rare, so it's also worse at wave clear. Getting forced into a card that makes you weaker is very bad. No ads yet!
