Audio Recorder is a user-friendly Chrome extension that allows you to easily record audio using your computer's microphone. Activate the recorder via the toolbar button, grant microphone access, and start or stop recordings with intuitive controls. Once recording stops, the audio is saved in the popular webm format and can be quickly downloaded to your default browser location.

Although the audio downloads in webm format, users can convert their recordings to other audio formats using third-party conversion tools available online. Audio Recorder offers a straightforward and efficient way to capture audio directly through your browser without the need for additional software. For reporting bugs or support, the extension provides a dedicated bug report form on its homepage.
