ASDetect

ASDetect is an award-winning Chrome extension designed to help parents and caregivers identify early signs of autism in children younger than 2 ½ years. Developed from world-class research at the Olga Tennison Autism Research Centre at La Trobe University, Australia, the app uses clinical videos illustrating social communication behaviors such as pointing and social smiling to guide assessments.

The assessments take 20-30 minutes and cover three age points: 12, 18, and 24 months. With proven accuracy between 81% and 83%, ASDetect empowers families to detect autism early, enabling timely support and intervention. The app reflects the most effective early detection method available and has assisted thousands of families since its 2015 launch.
