STRMZ Tracker

STRMZ Tracker is the smartphone component of STRMZ Hybrid Tracking for sporting events. Activated devices transmit their GPS position to the STRMZ platform during explicitly initiated tracking. This allows authorized event teams to track participants on a live dashboard and support race management.

Features:

• Secure device activation with a one-time code
• Precise GPS live tracking during an event
• Continuous tracking even when the screen is locked
• Visible Android system notification during tracking
• Local offline queue when there is no internet connection
• Automatic transmission of untransmitted positions
• Display of tracking status, position accuracy, and queue
• Tracking can be stopped directly in the app at any time

The app is intended for participants who have received a valid activation code from an event organizer. Tracking cannot be started without an activation code.

Location transmission only begins after the user has explicitly started tracking and granted the necessary location permission. A visible system notification remains displayed during active tracking. Once the session ends, no further tracking will be recorded.
