PV-Stromfischer

PV-Stromfischer is the app from the energy community of the same name in Stadl-Paura. Members share solar power from neighboring rooftops – cheaper than from the grid, without owning their own system, and without changing their electricity contract.

The app shows you exactly what YOU get.

WHAT'S HAPPENING RIGHT NOW

Generation, consumption, and grid feed-in are updated every second. If there's any spare sun, the app tells you – along with the kilowatts that are available. If you have registered devices that can be switched on and off, you can control them directly from the app, from the home screen widget, or via the quick settings tile.

WHAT IT GIVES YOU

How much you've saved since your last bill, how your electricity costs are split between the community and suppliers, and how much CO₂ has been avoided – in terms of trees or car kilometers, not technical jargon.

HOW YOU STAND

How much of your grid feed-in came from renewable energy sources, compared to your personal best and the average of other members. This includes a monthly goal, a community challenge, and achievements that grow over the months. Once reached, they remain.

ON THE LOCK SCREEN AND WRIST

The live notification displays the available solar power with the daily range, without having to open the app. There are also three widgets for the home screen, a "Utilize Surplus" tile in the quick settings, and a Wear OS app with a tile and complication.

HONEST NUMBERS

The app doesn't sugarcoat anything. Measured values are clearly marked as such, as are estimated values. The grid operator delivers the measurements with a delay of approximately two days – this is also stated. If a number is missing, it isn't displayed.

AM I IN THE AREA?

Even without registration: The map shows where membership is possible – the area around the same substation. A tap on the location icon, and the app tells you if you're within the area. Your location is requested once, compared to the boundary, and not saved; it never leaves your device.

DATA PROTECTION

No advertising, no analytics services, no sharing with third parties. The app communicates exclusively with the energy community's servers; push notifications are handled via Firebase Cloud Messaging.

REQUIREMENTS

The figures are for members of the PV-Stromfischer energy community; you need login credentials to view them. Without registration, the area map and membership application are available. More information: pv-stromfischer.at
