The Future Lab by Fill is a modern center for knowledge and learning for children, teenagers, and adults. The focus here is on digitalization, research, innovation, science, and technology.

In a creative and inspiring environment, visitors experience future technologies in in-person workshops. They playfully acquire knowledge and skills in STEM subjects.

MINTelligence Area

Future Lab Fill is a learning app for young people aged 10–14 that teaches key digital literacy concepts using the digi.komp8 platform. Learning takes place via card decks that convey knowledge in short, easily understandable learning nuggets – consisting of video, image, and text content. Topics covered include computer systems, search engines, algorithms, software, social media, artificial intelligence, and cloud technologies. After completing a basic topic, more in-depth decks are unlocked. The app provides immediate feedback through sounds, colors, and points, and clearly displays learning progress. Knowledge battles allow for comparison with other learners. Future Lab Fill can be used anonymously or with secure registration; personal data is used only to a limited extent (contact for support requests, etc.) – ideal for age-appropriate and data-protection-friendly use in schools.
