Tree Carbon Meter is a professional field tool designed for rangers,
ecologists, and conservation teams working in the KAZA Transfrontier
Conservation Area and similar miombo woodland ecosystems.

Measure, record, and export the carbon sequestration value of individual
trees — entirely offline, no account required.

🌳 TREE MEASUREMENT WIZARD
Step-by-step guide for recording Diameter at Breast Height (DBH), tree
height, and species. Built-in guidance explains each measurement so even
first-time field rangers get accurate results.

📊 CARBON ESTIMATION
Uses peer-reviewed allometric models (Chave 2014, Brown 1997, Miombo
Woodland) to instantly calculate:
• Above-Ground Biomass (AGB) in tonnes
• Total CO₂ sequestered (tCO₂e)
• Estimated carbon market value (VCS / Gold Standard compatible)
• Annual sequestration rate

🌿 SPECIES DATABASE
Includes a curated database of KAZA region tree species with wood density
values. Search by common name or scientific name. Unknown species fall back
to a safe IPCC default.

📍 GPS GEOTAGGING
Every tree is automatically tagged with its GPS coordinates when you save
a measurement. No manual coordinate entry needed.

🗺️ TREE MAP
View all recorded trees on an interactive map. Colour-coded markers show
carbon density at a glance. A live compass helps you navigate in the field.

🏷️ QR TREE TAGS
Generate a printable QR code tag for any measured tree containing all its
data. Scan a tag in the field to instantly retrieve species, DBH, height,
CO₂ sequestered, and the distance from your current location to the tree.

📤 EXPORT
Export all measurements as a CSV spreadsheet or PDF report — ready for
submission to carbon registries, conservation authorities, or donors.
