Luna Talk

Luna Talk is an AI assistant that runs entirely on your phone.

The language model is bundled with the app and runs on your device's own processor. Your messages are never uploaded, never stored on a server, and never used to train anything. There is no account to create and no sign-in. Conversations are kept only in the app's private storage, and clearing a conversation deletes it for good. Backup to Google Drive is switched off, so your chats stay on the device even when you back up your phone.

Because everything happens locally, Luna Talk keeps working in airplane mode, underground, on a plane, or anywhere with no signal.


FIVE MODES

Assistant — Summarize, rewrite, draft, and explain text you give it.
Free chat — Open-ended conversation.
Explain — Plain-language explanations with a concrete example.
Translate — Paste text, get the translation, nothing else.
English practice — A patient conversation partner that gently corrects your mistakes as you go.

Each mode keeps its own separate conversation history, so your translation work never bleeds into your practice sessions.


WHAT TO EXPECT

Luna Talk runs a small model, chosen so it fits and performs on a phone rather than a data centre. It is strongest at working with text you provide: summarizing, rewriting, translating, explaining. It is weaker at recalling facts, dates, and figures from memory, so check anything that matters. Responses are AI-generated and may be inaccurate.


REQUIREMENTS

- About 3 GB of RAM or more
- Roughly 1 GB of storage for the model, delivered once during installation
- The first launch takes a moment while the model loads


PRIVACY

Luna Talk collects nothing. No analytics SDK, no advertising ID, no tracking, no access to your contacts, files, or location. The app asks for no runtime permissions at all.
