INSIDEht

INSIDEht is Horatech's field app for operators and technicians of energy distribution companies. It allows users to register IoT devices, visit metering points, and manage residential meters from their mobile phones, using all the communication technologies supported by the system.

Designed for real-world use in the field: minimal taps, GPS, no keyboard when possible, and clear feedback indicating success or failure at each step.

• Real-time map with metering points, filtered by business unit, operations center, and location.

• Register IoT devices directly from a mobile phone:

- ML107A LoRaWAN via NFC (chip reading and automatic provisioning against ChirpStack).

- RHF4TR03 walk-by via Bluetooth Low Energy.

- WRC9 NB-IoT/4G via USB optical interface with IR probe.

• On-site technical reading: device identification, communication status, last report, and configuration parameters.

• Step-by-step WRC setup wizard: Server IP, APN,

Pulse weight, meter serial number, and manual report triggering.

• Verification of already installed devices: Comparison of hardware

against the expected configuration, with visible differences per parameter.

• Capture of GPS coordinates upon setup so the office

can load the measurement point onto them.

• Management of residential meters (gas, water, and others) with reading history
and linking to your IoT device.

▸ DESIGNED FOR FIELD TECHNICIANS

• OAuth login to the INSIDEht backend.

• Roles and permissions: Field Technician, Administrator. The setup menu

is enabled only if the client has subscribed to the functionality and the

user has scope over the business unit.

• Multi-tenant: The operator only sees the points, devices, and zones
that correspond to them.

• Limited offline operation: Local cache of tenancy and devices for

fast startup; setups require a connection.

• Bluetooth LE for RHF4TR03 walk-by modules.

• USB host with IR optical probes for WRC9 correctors and loggers.

INSIDEht is Horatech SAS's IoT platform for energy distributors, utilities, and smart cities. It centralizes data from sensors and measuring devices in real time, automates operational tasks, and offers monitoring dashboards, alerts, and reports for the entire lifecycle of the installed infrastructure.

This app is the platform's field complement. It is not distributed to the general public: it requires a valid user account provided by the client distributor.

▸ PERMISSIONS

The app uses system permissions only for its field functions: location (for geolocation), camera (for QR code scanning), NFC, Bluetooth, and access to connected USB devices. All information is transmitted via HTTPS to the INSIDEht platform.
