App Lock

App Lock lets you protect selected applications with a PIN to prevent unauthorized access.

Choose the apps you want to protect, activate protection, and App Lock will display a secure unlock screen whenever a protected app is opened.

Permissions:

App Lock requires Usage Access to detect when you open an application selected for protection. It processes only the visible package name, event type, and timestamp needed to prevent duplicate events.

It also requires permission to display over other apps. This allows App Lock to quickly cover a protected application with its secure unlock screen.

Privacy:

- Does not read screen content.
- Does not capture text or passwords.
- Does not store app usage history.
- Does not store your PIN in plain text.
- Does not transmit your protected app list.
- Processes settings and PIN verification locally.

Because of Android restrictions and manufacturer-specific behavior, some devices may briefly display the first frame of an application before the lock screen appears. App Lock reduces this exposure by quickly covering protected apps, but it cannot guarantee zero-frame exposure on every device.
