In the past, I forced all app links to just dump into Firefox so I could read the URL bar at least and figure out what it wanted. May have been a Android or Samsung setting. However it doesn't seem to be working on mobile anymore, so this should take care of it.
Extra points for a QR code scanner that shows you the link as well. People will just scan any QR code and open it up to see what it is. Bad 🙃

Really useful extension. Especially useful for nxm:// links with NexusMods with Linux.

Is AppLinks Safe?
Risk impact
Risk impact measures the level of extra permissions an extension has access to. A low risk impact extension cannot do much harms, whereas a high risk impact extension can do a lot of damage like stealing your password, bypassing your security settings, and accessing your personal data. High risk impact extensions are not necessarily malicious. However, if they do turn malicious, they can be very harmful.
AppLinks requires some sensitive permissions that could impact your browser and data security. Exercise caution before installing.
