Zawji App: Marriage & Nikah

Zawji App is a matchmaking app for Muslim men and women who are looking for a spouse with the intention of nikah. It follows Islamic etiquette: every profile is reviewed by a moderator, photos are shared only with consent, and conversations take place in the presence of witnesses.

How it works
• Create a profile: tell about yourself, your religious practice, your family situation and what you are looking for in a spouse.
• A moderator reviews your profile before it becomes visible to others.
• Browse profiles and narrow them down with filters by age, location and nationality.
• Show interest in a profile you like. When the interest is mutual, you move on to exchanging photos and then to a chat.

Conversations with witnesses
Chats are visible to the moderators, who act as witnesses. A sister can also share a special link with her wali (guardian) or other witnesses: it opens the chat for reading without registration.

Photos and privacy
• A sister's photo is never shown automatically. Photos are exchanged step by step after mutual interest, and each side decides whether to continue.
• A brother may choose to show his approved photos in his profile.
• Sisters' photos are reviewed only by female moderators.
• Photos in a chat can be sent as view-once.
• Attempts to share phone numbers or social media contacts in a chat are filtered automatically.
• You can report or block any user. Every report is reviewed by a moderator.

Communicate in your own language
Messages in the chat are translated automatically, so you can talk to someone who speaks a different language.

Connects
Registration, your profile, browsing profiles and mutual interest are free. Connects are needed only to start a chat: one connect opens one chat, and connects do not expire. In this version of the app connects can only be spent; all other features are available without them.
