Word Road

WordRoad is a captivating puzzle game where you connect letters and form words by filling a crossword puzzle field. The game combines simple controls with sophisticated logic, gradually increasing difficulty and developing attentiveness.

When you first launch the game, the player is greeted by the mysterious Magic Box screen. Several ancient boxes appear before them, one of which contains a reward. After selecting a box, it glows with light, and bright sparks appear in the air. The bonus can be claimed again after a few hours.

After the welcome screen, the main menu opens, designed in the style of ancient sands and stone ornaments. It displays your current energy level, your score, a button for replenishing your energy, and a link to the store where you can purchase additional resources. The screen also features settings, instructions, and a Magic Box button. As you progress through the game, new levels are unlocked, each requiring 25 units of energy.

The game board is a grid with empty cells that form a crossword puzzle. At the bottom of the screen is a circle with letters from which the player must form words. The player connects the letters with their finger, and if the word matches, it automatically fills the required cells. Each new puzzle is more challenging than the last, featuring longer words and rare letter combinations.

You have three minutes to complete a level. If time runs out, the game ends, and a window appears displaying your score and prompting you to try again. Upon successful completion of a level, a congratulatory message is displayed and points are added.

Hints help reveal the desired letter or the entire word if the player gets stuck. Bonus points are awarded for creating additional words.

The How to Play section provides a step-by-step description of the gameplay and an illustration showing an example of connecting letters. Music, sound effects, and notifications can be turned on or off in the settings.
