WeCast

The WeCast android app is a free companion for the Wecast Media content server API. Get our server API to collect all your Video, IPTV, and more in one place.
To use the app, you must have a media server with the WeCast API set up and running.

With a Media Server and WeCast app, you can:
- Watch Live TV and recorded shows from your Media server (additional hardware/services required)
- Create and manage pofiles for your family members with the ability to set kids profiles
- Stream to a Chromecast device on your network
- Stream your media on your Android device including Android TV devices
- View your collection in an easy to use interface

IMPORTANT:
The official WeCast version does not contain any content. You should provide your own content from a local or remote storage location, DVD, Blu-Ray or any other media carrier that you own. Additionally WeCast allows you to provide your own media content server that may provide access to content that you already own. Any other means of watching illegal content which would otherwise be paid for is not endorsed or approved by Team WeCast.
